Does turf installation include removing the old lawn?
Yes, removal can be included when you need to replace an existing lawn. We first look at what is growing there and the condition of the ground underneath so the right preparation can be included.
Can new turf be laid over an old lawn?
No. New turf needs close, even contact with prepared soil. Laying it over old grass, weeds or uneven ground can leave gaps underneath and make it harder for the new roots to take hold.
Can you help choose the right natural turf?
Yes. We look at the sunlight, children or pets, regular foot traffic, the finish you prefer and how much upkeep feels realistic for your household.
Do you supply turf without installing it?
No. We arrange turf as part of a complete installation and do not operate as a turf delivery service for DIY projects.
Will new turf fix an existing drainage problem?
Turfing can include small adjustments to the shape of the lawn, but it will not solve a major drainage problem on its own. Persistent pooling, stormwater changes or retaining work may need separate advice before a new lawn is installed.
